Activating Student Discounts

Exchange students and students coming to study a full degree are able to activate student discount in service point Osviitta. Activating your student discount in Osviitta allows you to use student products only on Waltti travel card.

Student status needs to be verified on  a semester-by-semester basis in connection with the autumn and spring semesters:

• Verification completed between 1 January and 31 July is valid until 31 August.
• Verification compelted between 1 August and 31 December is valid until 31 January

You will need a certification of attendance from your school or university when you are using Osviitta for your student status verification.

If you want to activate student discounts in Waltti Mobiili you will need finnish electronic identification instruments, for example finnish online banking credentials.
